Please provide me the details for IAS Age Limit? Union public service commission conducts Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam each year tentatively in month of May. Eligibility for exam: Age - limits: 21-30 years Age relaxation as: OBC33 SC/ST35 Physically disabled (Blind, Deaf-mute, Orthopedic) 40 Attempts: General6 OBC9 SC/ST : As many as upto age limt Physically disabled (Blind, Deaf-mute, Orthopedic) if general then 9 OBC then 9 SC/ST- then upto age limt Educational Qualification Degree of a Recognised University or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the requisite Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination. Here I am providing you the IAS exam Age Limit. This age limit is as follows: Age limit Age of 30 years on 1st August 2013 Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable: upto a maximum of five years upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir Eligibility You should have passed Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university minimum 50% marks in aggregate. |
