I want to participate in Central Bureau of Investigation or Criminal Investigation Department exam so need eligibility criteria, will you please provide here?

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigation agency of India.

Recruitment of above post is done with written and Oral exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission and UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should have a Bachelor degree of any stream.

The Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years.

Physical Requirements

Height
For men -165cms
For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms

Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision:
6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye
NearVision:
0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye

Exam pattern
The Selection based on Written Test, Personal Interview.

A. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks
General Test
General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Awareness
Numerical Ability

B. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.
English Language
Language Comprehension
Communication / Writing
Ability Test

Here Is the eligibility criteria for participating CBI or CID exams.

1. The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable in the CID is a pass in class 12.

2. If one student wants to join as a Sub Inspector, he/she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well.\

3. Physical Requirements:
HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms.
For Female-150 cms.
CHEST: MALE- 76 cms.
Good Eye Sight.
