Hello, As you said you want to know about Air Force Academy in India. According to my knowledge there are various eligibility require for different posts that you are looking for.

You haven’t described here that for what post you want to apply.

So by here we are providing an eligibility for Indian Air Force Pilot Exams Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
19 to 23 years

Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. (Physics/Maths) 3 years or B.E. 4 years

OR

B.Sc. (General) 3 years with Physics and Maths

Should not have failed INS-B/PAB Test earlier

Should not have been suspended in Flying Training earlier

Physical Eligibility (For Male)
Height: 1
62.5 cms

Leg Length:
Not less than 99 cms and not more than 128 cms,

Chest:
fully expanded chest should not be less than 82 cms with 5 cms expansion.

Physical Eligibility(For Female)

Height:
162.5 cms

Leg Length:
Between 99 cms and 120 cms.

The Interview involves a personal conversation with the Interviewing Officer.

The test schedule is -
Day 1 INS-B/PABT
Day 2 Psychological Test
Day 3 Group Tests
Day 4 Group Tests
Day 5 Interview
Day 6 Conference

Tentative Dates
IAF exam is generally held in the month of January and July.

Here I am providing the information regarding the Indian Air Force Job Opportunities which you are looking for .

Applicants can join the Indian Air Force as an officer in the flying, technical or the ground duty streams .

(a) Flying Branch: Fighter pilots Helicopter pilots , , Transport pilots-

Applicants can get into the flying branch as a graduate [through through AFCATexam (men & women), CDS exam (men), through NCC special entry (men)].

Applicants can also get in after 10+2 by qualifying the NDA/ NA exam.

(b) Technical Branch: Mechanical, Electronics –

Applicants can get into this branch through the exam, AFCAT or through University Entry Scheme (UES.)

(c) Ground Duty Branch: Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Education, Meteorology –

Applicants can get into this branch by qualifying AFCAT.

On the basis of educational qualifications, opportunities available fas an officer in IAF:

After 10+2

For the (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination conducted by the UPSC .

Appliacnts will be commissioned as officers and posted as pilots at any of the Air Force Stations.

After Graduation

Both men and women, who are graduates, can enter the Air Force as officers through this route. Applicants go through AFCAT exam and are selected as commissioned as officers and posted at any of the Air Force Stations.

IAF Airman Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

For Officer:

16 ½ to 19 years (candidates applying for NDA)
20 to 23 years (for graduate individuals in ground duty branches)
19 to 23 years (for graduate individuals in flying branch)
18 to 28 years (for graduate individuals in technical branch)
19 to 23 years (for engineering graduates in flying branch)
18 to 28 years (for engineering graduates in technical branch)
20 to 25 years (for engineering graduates in ground duty branches)
20 to 25 years (for post-graduate individuals in ground duty branches)
18 to 28 years (for post-graduate individuals in technical branch)

For Airmen:

16-20 years (positions available for candidates with matriculation or below)
16-22 years (positions available for candidates with diploma qualification)
16-22 years (positions available for candidates with intermediate qualification)
20-25 years (positions available for graduate individuals)
20-28 years (positions available for post-graduate individuals)

Salary & allowances for Indian Air Force officer jobs

The salary break-up of commissioned Indian Air Force officers (per month):
Pay in Pay Band (same for flying, technical, ground duty): Rs. 15,600
Military Service Pay: Rs. 6,000
Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400
Dearness Allowance @ 107 percent: Rs. 28,890
Transport Allowance: Rs. 3,200 + DA ( in major cities) or Rs. 1,600 + DA ( in other cities)
Kit Maintenance Allowance: Rs. 500

Additional allowance:

Technical Allowance: Rs. 2,500 per month for Technical Branch officers
Flying Allowance: Rs. 11,250 per month for Flying Branch officers

In short, the monthly pay package of the officers would be:

Technical branch: Rs. 65,514
Flying branch: Rs. 74,264
Ground duty branch: Rs. 63,014
