Am I Eligible To Join Indian Navy After B.Tech

I have completed B.Tech in Electrical engineering. Can I join Indian Navy?

After completing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering you are eligible to join Indian Navy. Final year candidates are also eligible to Apply for Indian Navy.

You can join Indian Navy by giving Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination which is organized by UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility for CDS Examination:

=== Graduation Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. (with Physics or Mathematics) for NCC entry from recognized university.

=== Candidate appearing/appeared in final exam of above such program are also eligible to apply for CDS.

=== Age should be in between 19 to 22 years.

=== Unmarried, Male & citizen of India.

Physical Standard for Indian Navy:

Minimum height-157cms for men with correlated weight . Eye Sight: 6/24,6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses. The candidate should not be color/night blind.

Interview
Medical test

Syllabus : -
General knowledge - 100 marks
General English - 100 marks
Elementary maths - 100 marks

You can also join Indian navy through:

Technical entry scheme which is held twice a year
Age: 16 to 19 and 1/2 yrs
No written exam, direct interview

University entry scheme held during third and 4th year of engineering
Age: 20 to 23 yrs
