Eligibility:

Candidates wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete a Bachelors degree in Nautical Science or Marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field.

He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no colour blindness.

An unmarried Indian male in the age group of 19-23
You should have 6/6 eyesight, height of at least 167 cms, minimum weight of 50 Kg and chest dimensions of 77 cm (Normal) and 82 cm (Expanding).
