The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. Job Opportunities: For Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Educational Qualifications 12th Class Pass or equivalent from recognized Institute/ Board/ University Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on computer, corresponding to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word For MTD (OG): Educational Qualifications Matriculation qualification pass or equivalent from recognized Institute/ Board/ University. Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for Light and Heavy Vehicle Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of Motor Mechanism Minimum two years of experience in driving motor vehicles. For Cook Painter Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Mess Staff. Safaiwala Aya Dhobi Educational Qualifications Matriculation qualification pass or equivalent from recognized Institute/ Board/ University. Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (Painter). Military Nursing Service: Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed PG or PB B Sc or B Sc Nursing from INC recognized University and be a registered Nurse and Midwife from a State Nursing Council. Posts of Musicians: Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualifications The candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university and should have fluency in spoken and written English. Professional Qualification The candidate should be in possession of Grade-5 certificate or above for Piano, from any of the recognized board such as Trinity College of London, associated board of Royal School of Music or London College of Music or Bangalore Conservatory of Music. Musical Ability The candidate must have the ability to play a Brass instrument such as Trumpet/ Cornet, Horn, Euphonium, Baritone or a woodwind instrument such as Western Fluet, Clarinet, Oboe or any Bow string instrument such as Violin Viola Cello. A fundamental knowledge of the Piano forte is mandatory for all candidates. The candidate must possess one of the following diplomas/ equivalents - (a) LRAM (b) ARCM (c) ATCL.
