Which topics are important in 12th class Chemistry subject, will you please provide here?

Here I am giving you some important tips to prepare for Important Topics of 12th CBSE Chemistry and some important questions for exam.

Important Tips for12th CBSE Chemistry:

Important Topics:
P-block elements
D and F block elements
Electrochemistry
Solid States
Chemical Kinetics
Surface Chemistry

1) Chemistry is a scoring subject. According to Chemistry question paper of past few years it has been seen that all questions are directly or indirectly asked from the NCERT books so refer NCERT books.

2) Organic Chemistry carries 18 marks and it is one of the most important units in Chemistry for every student who wants to get better marks in the Chemistry.

4) In Inorganic Chemistry, p-Block Elements and d-Block Elements together constitute 13 marks. You should practice the structures of different chemical compounds of p-block elements properly because they are often asked in the board exam.

5) The last three chapters of 10 marks like Biomolecules, Polymer and Chemistry in Everyday life should be prepared really well.

6) Physical Chemistry should be read in appropriate manner. Each formula from each chapter should be learned.

7) Try to solve sample papers and previous year’s papers.

8) Follow up your NCERT concepts with a reference book to gain a deeper understanding of the topic.

9) Do not ignore numerical problems. Most of the times, the problems are direct application of the formulae in use, and, at times are mixed with your understanding of a topic.

10) Do remember the S.I units of all entities.

Recommended Books for preparation:

1. NCERT books for Chemistry
2. Pradeep’s New Course Chemistry for Class 12
3. CBSE Sample papers (e.g. EXAM IDEA).

Some important questions for 12th CBSE Chemistry Exam:
