Here you want to apply for the Company Secretary Course, so I want to inform that you have to apply online for registration on the official website of the ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)’.

Now here I am providing the following procedure that how you will do the registration on the official website of the ICSI.

Firstly you have to visit the homepage of the official website of the ICSI.

On the homepage, there is an option named ‘Students’ in the right side.

When you will click on the link, you will reach on a new page and the page will look like the screen shot:



On this page, you will a link named ‘New Registration for Foundation/Executive Programme’. When you will click on the link, you will get a new page and the page will look like the following screen shot:



On this page, you have to do check mark on the following options:
-Photograph of the candidate
-Signature of the candidate
-DOB Certificate (10th Pass Certificate)
-Roll Number (if appearing)
-Qualification Passed Certificate
-Category Certificate

After check mark, you have to click on the link named ‘Proceed To Registration’. When you will click on the link, you will reach on a new page and the page will look like the screen shot:



You have to fill the form.

Company Secretary is a senior position in a private company or public organization, normally in the form of a managerial position. CS Course is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), which is constituted under an Act of Parliament. ICSI is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India.

Company Secretary Eligibility:

1. Educational Qualification for CS:

For Foundation course:
Candidates must have10+2 or an equivalent examination.

For Intermediate course:
Candidates must have passed the Foundation Course and are not less than 17 years of age can apply for the Intermediate course.

Candidates who are Graduates, post-graduates (excluding fine arts) and those who have passed final exam of ICWAI or ICAI or of any other accountancy Institution in India or abroad recognized by the Council of the Institute can directly enroll to the intermediate course without doing foundation course.

For Final course:
After passing the intermediate course a registered candidate can apply for the Final course.
