I have completed 12th and want to join CBI. What should be the next step after it?

Sorry,with 12th standard qualification,you are not eligible for CBI .So i suggest you to complete graduation and then concentrate on these exams. Central Bureau of Investigation is the top most investigation agency in the country.It investigates the top and big cases in the country.For getting into that you need to write the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility for CBI: Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university. Minimum 21 years of age. The maximum age allowed is 27 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. 3 years for OBC candidates. The upper age is relaxable for certain categories of employees working under government of India and Defense Services Personnel. Physical Requirements: HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms. For Female-150 cms. CHEST: MALE- 76 cms. No such requirement for females. Good Eye Sight. Exam Pattern: The exam pattern is as follows. 1.Preliminary Examination. 2.Main Examination. In the Preliminary Examination, there are two papers. General Awareness General Intelligence. It consists of 100 questions and for 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. In the Paper 2 there are 100 questions for 100 marks and all the questions are on Arithmetic only.Even the duration of this paper is 2 hours. After that you are eligible for the Main examination. In the Main Examination there are two stages. Written examination and personality test. General studies-100m English-100m Language-100m Arithmetic-200m Communication skills and writing-100m In the Personality test, they will test the personality and mental ability of the candidates. But there are some courses like forensic science and criminology that act as a service provider to the CBI and other detecticve sector of government. Forensic science is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system. Criminology is the scientific study of the nature, extent, causes, and control of criminal behavior in both the individual and in society. The institution offering such courses is given below: 1. National institute of criminology and forensic science 2. Faculty of law, University of Pune 3. Institute of Forensic science and criminology, Bundelkhand University 4. Department of Biochemistry, Osmanaia University 5. Department of Forensic Science, Panjabi University 6. Department of Antropology, University of Delhi 7. Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University

To join CBI, graduation is required in any specialization so after 12th you have to complete your graduation in any field after this you have to clear CGE (Combined Graduate Exam). This exam conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Committee). CBI eligibility- Graduation in any of the discipline with minimum 60% marks. Age limit : Minimum age 21 years and maximum 28 years Physical Requirements- Height - For men: 165cms. For women: 150cms Chest: 76cms. with expansion Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) - Distant Vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
