Any buddy, please tell me the eligibility criteria for the National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC)……….

The National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) recruits eligibility candidates for filling Engineering Executive Trainees recruitment in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Instrumentation and Electronics disciplines. The eligibility criteria as following:

Eligibility
The applicant must have completed B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (technology)/AMIE in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks. Final year/semester students are also eligible if they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their Engineering Degree.

Age limit:
The age should be between 20 to 27 years as on 18-01-2014.

Selection:
The Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in GATE 2014 exam first and then on the Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

Eligibility of NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees Exam is as give below;

Eligibility;

Age Limit:
A candidate’s age must not be more 27 years at the time of applying.

Educational Qualifications:
Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the Institute/University.

Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree.

Selection procedure
Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

Based on the GATE MARKS and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD & Interview, before being considered in the merit list.
