Total No. of Posts: 120
Name of the Post: Engineering Executive Trainee
Name of the Disciplines:
1. Electrical: 40 posts
2. Mechanical: 60 posts
3. Electronics: 10 posts
4. Instrumentation: 10 posts

Age Limit:
Upper age limit is 27 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

You must possess Graduation in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Instrumentation & Control/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Production & Industrial Engineering/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics.

Selection Process:
Based on GATE-2015

Starting Date to Apply Online: 02-02-2015 (Monday) at 11:00 hrs.
Last Date to Apply Online: 03-03-2015 (Tuesday) till Midnight.
Online Examination Dates: From 31-01-2015 till 08-02-2015.

NTPC Limited (National Thermal Power Corporation) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities.

NTPC Eligibility details are given below:

Candidates should possess B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (technology)/AMIE in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks.
Students belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories (Visually Handicapped / Hearing Handicapped / Orthopaedically Handicapped ) and pursuing full time degree course in Engineering in the disciplines of Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunication from a college / university institute recognized by the Govt.Of India and should be in the Third Year are eligible to apply for the exam.
Age should be between 21-27 years

Selection Procedure:
Written Exam(Internal).
GATE/PSU Exam Score Card.

Mechanical Measuring Instruments
