TET Qualification in Assam

Sir I want to apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test Assam but I have no idea about the qualification which is required for the TET so please can you give me the Qualification eliglbity for TET Assam?

Educational Condition:
For Paper I and Paper II:
Candidates must have done Graduation plus B.Ed with atleast 50% marks or Class 12th plus 4 yrs B.El.Ed Programme with min. of 50%.

Paper Pattern of Assam TET:
Class I to V:
Language 1: 30 Points
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Points
Language 2: 30 Points
Mathematics: 30 Points
Environmental studies: 30 Points
Time Limit: 1 hour 30 min.

Class VI to VIII:
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 Points
Language 1: 30 Points
Language 2: 30 Points
Mathematics or Science OR SSt or Social Science: 60 Points
Time Limit: 1 hour 30 min.

Assam TET Paper Syllabus:
Pedagogy and Development of Child
Child Development related to primary school: Development Concept and relationship of learning with development, development of children’s Principles, Socialization processes, Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence, Distinction between Assessment for learning & assessment of learning , for enhancing learning and critical thinking in the classroom and for assessing learner achievement, formulating appropriate questions for assessing readiness levels of learners, Inclusive Education concept and to understand the special needs of children: Addressing disadvantaged & deprived learners from various backgrounds ,Addressing the Talented, Creative, Specially able Learners, Motivation & learning, contributing Factors to learning ersonal and environmental, Addressing children needs with their difficulties in learning. Learning & Pedagogy :to understand children learning and thinking process; how & why children ‘fail’ to accomplish success in their performance at school, Basic processes of teaching and learning, children’s strategies of learning; learning as a social activity, learning social context , other concepts of learning in children, understanding children’s ‘errors’ as significant steps in the learning process, Cognition and Emotions, Constructs & its perspectives critically, progressive education of concepts and child-centered, Influence of Heredity & Environment , Lang. & Thought, Gender importance as social construct, Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on diversity of language, caste, gender, community, religion.

Mathematics
Basic primary and elementary level mathematics fundamentals, Pedagogical issues: Nature of Mathematics, Diagnostic and Remedial Teaching Place of Mathematics in Curriculum, Community Mathematics, Problems of Teaching ,Evaluation through formal & informal methods, Error analysis & related aspects of learning and teaching, Language of Mathematics.

Language 1 and Language 2:
Language Comprehension: Reading unseen passages, verbal ability, grammar, inference, To evaluate proficiency in language comprehension , material of teaching learning, Language Skills, Language Development Pedagogy: acquisition and Learning , listening role and speaking, Principles of language Teaching, Critical aspect of grammar, Remedial Teaching, teaching challenges in classroom.

Environmental Studies
Basic primary and elementary level EVS fundamentals, Pedagogical Issues: EVS Concept & scope , Environmental Education & Environmental Studies, Importance of Environmental Studies and integrated Environmental Studies , Scope & relation to Science & Social Science Learning Principles, presenting concepts approaches ,Activities, Practical Work, material of Teaching , Aids, Experimentation .

For Assam Teacher Eligibility Test candidate must passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks + Graduate degree in any stream.

Assam Teacher Eligibility Test 2012 date is still not published. Last year this exam was conducted in month of September so it is possible that this year also exam will conduct in this month or nearby this month.
