What are the minimum qualifications required to appear for Assam Civil Services exam??? Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam details are as given below; Eligibility: Must be an Indian Citizen Age: 21 years to 38 years Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST Educational qualification: The applicant should have Degree from an recognized University. Candidates awaiting results need not apply. Examination Fees: Rs 25/- for SC, ST(P) & ST(H) Rs. 50 for others Fees to be deposited only through e-Challan with State Bank of India) Exam pattern The Assam Combined Competitive Exam consists of two successive stages : (I) The Assam APSC Preliminary Exam (II) The Assam APSC Main Exam (Written and Interview). a) The Assam Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam will consist of 2 papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each. Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will hold the Combined Competitive Examination for various posts under Assam Civil Services Minimum qualification required for Assam Civil Services exam - You should hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational institutions established by an Act of parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 - You must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of your applications. Other Eligibility for Assam Civil Services exam -You must be an Indian citizen. -Your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age -The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. up to 43 years. -There will also be relaxation of upper age limit in respect of Persons with Disability by 5 years i.e. up to 43 years.
