Applicants are admitted to the B.E. courses depending on their eligibility as under:

Applicants admission after Higher Secondary Exam of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, through a Common Entrance Examination taken by the Government of Assam.

The Government of Assam also conducts a Lateral Entrance Examination after completion of the 3-year Polytechnic Diploma from the state of Assam
