There are many primary and secondary schools in Australia. Both primary and secondary schools of Australia is now a days using common reporting and assessment format. Universal common assessment and reporting standards legislation is also introduced by Federal Government

Grading system is now structured as follows:

Schools Reports
A (Excellent) 85 and above
B (Good) 70-84
C (Satisfactory) 51-69
D (Limited) 31-50
E (Very Low) 26-30
F (Failed) or UG (Un-Graded) 25 and below

Grading system is a process of ranking of marks achieved by the students in terms of letters(such as A,B,C,D,E). The Grading is based on the percentage of marks obtained out of total marks.

In Australia, the letters used for Grading marks are HD, D, C, P, N.
