IIT Admission Percentage

What is the minimum Percentage required to appear in the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE or JEE) examination???

Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE or JEE) was an annual engineering college entrance examination. It was use to take admission in fifteen Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian School of Mines and IT BHU. In 2013 it was replaced by Joint Entrance Examination, which will be held in two phases.
Phase 1 is JEE Main and the
Phase 2 is JEE Advanced.

JEE percentage admission Criteria:
You must secure following minimum percentage in Qualifying Examination (QE)
OBC/General category: Minimum 60%.
ST/SC/PD candidates: Minimum of 55%

Qualifying Examinations (QE) are listed below:
-Final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board
-High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
-H.S.C. vocational examination.
-Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
-Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
-Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
-A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
-Any Public School/Board/University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
-General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
