The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad offers following programmes:

Post-graduate Programme in Management

The Post-graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management

The Post-graduate Programme in Management for Executives

The Fellow Programme in Management—IIMA’s doctoral programme in Management

The Faculty Development Programme—a professional development programme for faculty members of management schools, and

Management Development Programmes—continuing education programmes for middle, senior and top level managers

IIMA programmes which require CAT scores
Post-graduate Programme (PGP)
Post-graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM)
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

Post-graduate Programme (PGP)
CAT score should have a total scaled score of at least 700

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
Those applying to the Fellow Programme in Management on the basis of the above tests in lieu of CAT should have scored more than 50% mark in their bachelor’s degree to be considered for selection to the Fellow Programme in Management.

In IIM Ahmedabad there are 3 steps of admission which include Preliminary Screening, Screening for Academic Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI) and final selection.

Admission Procedure for PGP 2015-17 Batch

Post-graduate Programme (PGP)
The two-year Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a full-time residential course for graduates from all disciplines. The Programme was ranked at No.7th in the world by the Financial Times in M.Sc (Management) category in the year 2011.

Admission/Selection Process
The selection of candidates for admission to the 2015-17 batch of the PGP at IIM Ahmedabad is a 2 step process.

First, candidates are short-listed for Academic Writing Test (AWT) and second, Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied for the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme.

Validity of Score other than CAT for Admission:
Two years from the date of test and should valid on the deadline of submission of application form.

Agriculture: CAT/ICAR-SRF /GRE/UGC-JRF (Economics/Development Studies/Development Economics/Business Economics/Rural Economics/Public Administration/Sociology)

Productions and Quantitative Methods: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF in Mathematical Sciences

Information Systems: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE

Economics: CAT/GRE/GMAT

Innovation and Management in Education: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF in relevant discipline

Marketing: CAT/GMAT/GRE

Organizational Behavior: CAT/GMAT/ GRE /UGC-JRF in relevant discipline.

Personnel and Industrial Relations: CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/UGC-JRF in relevant discipline.

Public Systems: CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF in relevant discipline

MBA / PGDM programmes from other Universities/Business Schools: Standard Test Scores are required
