I want to apply for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers AMIE in Institution of Engineers Pune so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria required to apply?

The Institution of Engineers (India) IEI was registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 in the year 1920. It was established in 1921 by Lord Chelmsford.

AMIE Examination Classes:--

Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers AMIE is one of the grades of Membership of IE (I).

The degree of AMIE is deemed as Equivalent to degree of engineering.

Eligibility-

10+2 with PCM & English or a diploma holder of 3 years course in any engineering branch

Refresher Course for AMIE-

The classes are conducted in the evening for the convenience of employed students (6:45 pm to 8:45 pm). & on Sundays also.

Refresher Course For AMIE– Summer 2015

Regular Batch Monday to Thursday (1845 Hrs.– 2045 Hrs.)
Weekend Batch Sunday / Thursday (1000 Hrs to 2030 Hrs)

Course Fee-

Section A (Diploma / Non Diploma, All Subjects) -

Rs. 1500/- Per Subject + Registration Fees Rs. 200/-
For Old Admission Rs. 1000/- Per Subject + Registration Fees Rs. 200/-

Section B (All Branches, All Subjects) -

Rs. 3000/- Per Subject + Admission Fees Rs. 200/-
(All Branches minimum 20 students per Batch)

Membership Fees Rs.1000/-( Deposit) & Rs.300/-(For Six Month)

Course

AMIE course consists of Section A followed by Sec B.

For the first there is only written examination whereas the second also includes lab experiments and a project of concerned stream.
