What are the admission criteria for GNM courses in Indian Medical Institute of Nursing?

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) is a 3.5 years program which is offered to both Male and Female students.
The admission criteria for General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course in Indian Medical Institute of Nursing are given below:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks for general and 40% marks for SC/ST students.
The age of the applicant should be from 17-35 years.

Documents required:
Certificates of Matriculation, +1/+2 Higher Secondary or the previous examination passed.
Character certificate
Marks Sheet
Eight copies of passport size photographs.
Domicile certificate.
Migration Certificates.
Attested copies of SC/BC/ST-Certificate
Copies of any other documents (Qualification, Sports, Cultural activities etc.)

The candidate must be a citizen of India

The Candidates must be able to read, write and express in Bengali/Nepali.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, or passed equivalent examination from any recognized Council/Board.

The Selection will be made strictly on the basis of total marks obtained in Languages out of which English must be one and Three Elective subjects (best of three) except (Environmental Studies) in the H.S.(10+2) or equivalent Examination.
