Admission Procedure For Diploma Courses

Can you please tell me the procedure to get admission to the diploma courses at the Nirma University?

As you ate asking to know of the information of the admission to the diploma courses at the Nirma University so here are some details that can help you-

The admissions to 1st year of Diploma engineering in all the programmes at the institute are done through, the following categories-

a) State Quota to get admission (Government seats): 75% of intake in each Programme at the institute shall be filled in by the Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC), Platic Bhavan, Government Polytechnic, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad-380007, which is constituted by the Government of Gujarat for the purpose of admissions

b) Management Quota to get admission (NRI Seats): Under the Non-resident Indian (NRI) seats, 15% of intake in each programme at gthe institute are filled in by the Institute on the basis of the merit list prepared as per the guidelines of the ACPDC. For this, the candidate will have to first get registered himself at the ACPDC, and then apply to the Institute for the courses of his/her choice.

The candidate can seek admission under three categories: (i) Self NRI, (ii) NRI parent(s), and (iii) NRI sponsored.

c) Remaining 10% seats are filled under Management Quota of the institute.


Criteria to get admission –

i) Candidates who have passed 10th standard from Gujarat Board
ii) Candidates who have passed 10th standard from Central Board of Secondary Education or Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, but the candidate studied should have been located in the state of Gujarat or U.T. or Diu, Daman and Dadara Nagar Haveli to get admission to the insititute.
