Indian Government’s Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has set up five Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) to promote high quality scientific research and training.

Last date for receiving admission fees

For this year, admissions are closed but you can take these dates as tentative for the next year as the IISER exam generally held during July.

You would be happy to know that you can also opt for scholarship.
BS-MS students are eligible for either KVPY or INSPIRE scholarship.

KVPY and JEE(Advanced) Streams
1. Deadline of payment of fees for KVPY-JEE candidates allotted in first round. 10 July @ 5:00 PM
2. Opening of the application portal for the candidates to exercise the Float option.

Floating of the candidates will be within the category (GE/OBCNC/SC/ST/KM) and NOT across the categories: 11 July 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

3. Announcement of second (last) round of allotment of seats under KVPY/JEE stream: 11 July @ 6:00 PM

4. Payment of fees by the candidates in the second (last) round of allotment under KVPY/JEE Stream: 11th - 15th July (5:00 PM)

SCB Stream

1. IISER SCB aptitude test: 12th July (10.00 AM to 1.00 PM)
2. Announcement of the first allotment of seats under SCB category: 17 July by 5:00 PM
3. Deadline for payment of fees for SCB candidates allotted in the first round: 17 July - 21 July by 5:00 PM
4. Opening of the application portal for the candidates to exercise the Float option.
Float of the candidates will be within the category (GE/OBCNC/SC/ST/KM) and NOT across the categories: 22 July @ 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
5. Declaration of the allotment of the second (last) round of allotment for SCB stream: 22 July @ 6:00 PM
6. Deadline of the payment of fees by the candidates in the second round of allotment under SCB stream: 22- 25 July @ 5:00 PM
