As on today 21st March 2015, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) publish latest recruitment for following:

Total No. of Positions:
1402 Positions

Name of Positions:

1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer: 600 Positions
2. Assistant Medical Officer: 39 Positions
3. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: 391 Positions
4. General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II: 372 Positions

Criteria for Age:
Aspirants should not be more than 32 years of age as on 1st Jan, 2015.

Education Eligibility:
Candidates must have MBBS Degree and who has appeared or will appear at the final year MBBS Examination may also apply.

Examination Pattern:
Exam will conduct in 2 ways Written Exam and Personality Test.

Written Exam -

It will be Computer based exam in two Papers.
Each paper will be of 250 marks maximum and of two hours duration.

Personality Test –
Only for those candidates who have qualified Computer based exam.
It will be of maximum 100 marks.

Computer based Examination will have two Papers as given below.

Paper I: Total questions in Paper I = 120 and Total Marks = 250

(a) General Ability: 30 questions
(b) General Medicine: 70 questions
(c) Paediatrics: 20 questions

Paper II: Total questions in Paper I = 120 and Total Marks = 250

(a) Surgery: 40 questions
(b) Gynaecology & Obstetrics: 40 questions
(c) Preventive & Social Medicine: 40 questions

Important dates:
Closing Date for Receiving Application is 10th April, 2015

Closing Date for Payment of Fee by Cash is 9th April, 2015 till 23:59 HRS

Closing Date Payment of Fee by Debit/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking is 10th April, 2015 till 23:59 HRS

Date of Examination is 28th June, 2015
