Yashavantrao Chavan Institute of Science was started by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Asia’s largest educational institute, founded by late Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil in June 1958 to provide higher education in science to all and to pay special attention to downtroddens.
