Sir, please provide me the UPSC syllabus of IAS Prelim and IAS Main exam.

UPSC was established on October 1, 1926.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India's central agency.
It is authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination and Combined Medical Services Examination.

Here I am providing you the syllabus detail of Civil Services (Main) Examination:

PAPER-I:
Section 1 Essay-200 Marks
Section 2 English Comprehension & English Précis-100 Marks

PAPER-II:
General Studies- I: Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society-250 Marks.

PAPER-III:
General Studies- II: Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations-250 Marks.

PAPER-IV:
General Studies-III: Technology, Economic Development, Bio diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management-250 marks.

PAPER-V:
General Studies- IV: Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude-250 Marks.

PAPER-VI & PAPER VII:
Optional Subject Papers I & II-250 Marks Each.

Personality Test- 275 Marks

Analysis
The weightage of marks of the interview has been kept at the same standard of 13% i.e.
Earlier Interview Carried: 300/2300*100=13 percent approx
Now, 275/2075*100=13 percent approx

Similarly the weightage of the Optional Paper had been reduced from 52 percent to 24 percent, i.e.
Earlier it was 1200/2300*100=52%approx
Now, it is 500/2075*100=24%approx

In case of the General Studies Paper the Weightage of Marks has increased to 48 percent from 26 percent, i.e.
Earlier it was 600/2300*100=26%;
Now, it is 1000/2075*100=48%

Prelims syllabus of Civil Services Examination (CSE)

Paper I - (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
• Current events of national and international importance
• History of India and Indian National Movement
• Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
• Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
• Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
• General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization
• General Science

Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
• Comprehension
• Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
• Logical reasoning and analytical ability
• Decision making and problem solving
• General mental ability
• Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.Class X level)
• English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).
• Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper-II) will be tested through passages from English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
