The University Grants Commission - NET is being conducted for recruitment of Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in India. Following are the details of this examination:

Eligibility
The applicant should secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

If a person has done BSc and then MA in English and has secured 55% in MA, then isn't he eligible for appearing in Net Slet?
