The main objective of this scholarship is that student should continue their higher education and should not drop out due to financial problems.

The Chief Minister's Scholarship Program has been charted out to harness youth energy, promote social service and elevate the future development of our country. The Government of Gujarat is a proven leader in economic development, development of agriculture, innovation in scheme design and use of advanced technology in governance. This high performance will be extended to the Scholarship Program to inspire the best young achievers to advance as managers of excellence. This program is a chance for the youth to experience Government functioning first hand and immerse themselves in working for a better society. The Scholarship Program will be directed at addressing areas of highest priority for the State Government, especially improving the Human Development Index of the State. Creative and innovative thinking from the youth is demanded to address issues like: arousing the quality of education, improving child nutrition, reducing maternal mortality and strengthening progress in rural areas through mitigation of poverty and creating livelihood chances it is aim to empower directors with this understanding to address the increasing complexity of the world's economy, society and environment; managers who can make effective decisions based in any sector.

Selection Process
Selection as a fellow under the Chief Minister's Fellowship Program is based on a combination of the following criteria:
Track record of remarkable professional achievement in the applicant's career
Trait of leadership skills and the potential for further growth
Demonstrated commitment to social / public service
Skill set that highlights the ability to work effectively as part of the team
Strength of character, positive attitude and the ability to work with others

am i eligible for this scholarship i have completed my 10th this year with 95% result!!!!!!!!! i am realy seeing up to this and i am realy poor!!!!!!!

For this program you must be:
Qualification Exam: 12 years of study i. e. 10+2 or Equivalent in Science or relevant stream;
Grade: good passing grades in Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry (or relevant subjects) and English;
Year of' Study: First Year student in one of the areas of study approved under the Programme. Second Year student is not eligible. Kindly submit proof of admission;
Financially Needy: you must also be financially needy and not in receipt of any other scholarship.
Community Development: willing to help develop your community and country upon graduation;

i passed my higher secondary in trade certificate in foundry & forging technology (equivalent to 10+2) with 83.66% from sant longowal institute of engineering & technology ( stablish by gov of india ) and now i am a student of diploma in welding technology in same institute. Am i eligible for scholorship programme.
