The NCHMCT has published notification for NCHMCT JEE 2012 on its official website. Here are the important dates of the exam: Sale of Application Form will start from: 5th December, 2011 to 9th April, 2012 (Cost of Application Form for General& OBC category candidates: Rs. 900/-) Cost of Application Form for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Physically Disabled category candidates: Rs. 450/-. Last Date for submission of completed Application Form: 13th April, 2012 Date of NCHMCT JEE 2012 Entrance Examination: 28th April, 2012 (Saturday) 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Merit based Counselling for allotment of seats: 1st Week of June, 2012 Commencement of Academic Session: 1st August, 2012 |

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is considered as one of the important entrance tests in the field of hotel management. NCHMCT offers B.Sc.in Hospitality and Hotel Administration program in following institutions-- IHM-Bangalore IHM- Chennai IHM- Delhi at Pusa IHM-Goa IHM- Hyderabad IHM- Kolkata IHM-Mumbai and 28 affliated institutes Eligibility -You should have pass in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject. -Admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents to be produced by the candidates at the time of Counselling and at the time of admission in Institute. List of approved qualifying examinations for Indian Students - Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. -Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/ State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education. - H.S.C. Vocational Examination. - Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects. - General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. - High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University. - Any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education. Age Limit-- -For candidates from General and OBC categories upper age limit is 22 years -In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates upper age limit is 25 years -Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category you belongs to since Physically Challenged category candidates may belong to General/SC/ST/OBC category. Physical Fitness All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given in this Brochure at the time of admission.
