When will Goa institute of management start admission in PGDM (PT) course in 2012? What is the fee structure of this course? Who can apply for this course? Do I need to pass any entrance exam for admission in this program?

Give me the GIM Entrance Exam syllabus, & also give me the GIM Entrance Exam question paper, for excellent preparation for my exam so will you please provide me form any where you can get?

I am giving the important dates for application submission to participate in the entrance examination of GIMS. The XAT 2013 or CMAT 2013-14 is the key for getting admission in the courses of the Institute. The sale of application form started on September 2012 and lasted till December 2012. Te online registration will end on 31st December 2012. XAT will commence on 6th January 2013 and CMAT 2013 on 27-09-2012 to 01-10-2012.

I am giving the XAT syllabus for your reference. Go through it.
XAT 2012 Syllabus / Paper Pattern:-
The Test contains Questions on three abilities or skills. These are:
* Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making
* Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
* Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability

Will you please give me detail of Goa Institute of Management (GIM) Entrance exam??

GIM Entrance Exam admission test will be conducted for obtaining admission to post graduate management courses from Goa Institute of Management (GIM).

Eligibility:
-You should have a minimum of graduate course with 50% aggregate mark from recognized Indian universities or AICTE
-The candidates from reserved category will get reduction on percentage mark, that is, they need only 45% mark from their graduate course.

Seats
The GIM have a total of 240 seats for post graduate diploma in management course

Admission
-The score obtained from the entrance examination conducted by GIM will be considered for producing final list of admitted students
-You should register for XLRI Admissions Test (XAT) conducted by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education.

Tentative dates:
Filling of online application forms Oct to Dec
Last date for online registration 31st December 2
Face to Face evaluation process February/March 2014
Announcement of Final Admission results April 2014
Beginning of new academic session June 2014

Syllabus of the GIM entrance exam
The questions are from verbal aptitude, English, quantitative capability, DI, logical interpretation and general knowledge.

Verbal ability and reading comprehension
Questions from miscellaneous words, sentences, jumbled paragraph, vocabulary, grammar, etc.

Quantitative ability
Mathematics, geometry, modern math, speed and distance, line graph and diagrams etc.

-The second one is essay writing.
-They have to write essay for the given topic.
-The duration of this test is 20 minutes and word count is 250 to 300 words.
