Eligibility criteria:

Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the performance in the CAT examination, academic record, work experience, clarity of purpose and extracurricular achievements.
Final selection depends upon General Discussions and Personal Interview.

Exam Pattern
The test will be objective type with 150 questions to be answered in 150 minutes.
Section-1 30 marks: English/Verbal Ability
Section-2 40 marks: Quantitative Techniques
Section-3 40 marks: Logic and Data interpretation
Section-4 40 marks: Understanding

Eligibility for admission is
A three-year (10+2+3) University Degree in any discipline, recognised by the AIU as eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks. This applies to also those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Candidates appearing for final year degree examination may also apply.

The pattern of the test will be objective type with 150 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. There will be three sections of 40 marks each and 1 section 30 marks, English/Verbal Ability - 40 marks, Quantitative Techniques-40 marks, Logic and Data interpretation-40 marks, Understanding EU-30 marks

The selection is based on the Valid CAT/ GMAT scores. Scores of GMAT 2009/2010/2011 are acceptable in addition to CAT 2011 to screen candidates for the second stage consisting of Group-discussion/Case Analysis/Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit. For admission to PGDM (Healthcare Management) alone, the Institute conducts a separate test, TAPMI Admission Test (TAT) in the month of February 2011. This test is in addition to letting candidates apply through CAT/GMAT scores for PGDM (HCM).
CAT is used only for short-listing. Final Selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI Admissions Process.

Eligibility Criteria for TAT
- You should have graduate degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline from an AIU recognized university, with minimum 50% overall aggregate marks.
- if you have professional qualification such as Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy and Company Secretary then you are required minimum 50% overall aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.

Paper Pattern for TAT
-TAT exam paper pattern consists of a total 150 objective type questions
- Questions will be asked from four sections such as English/Verbal Ability, Quantitative Techniques, Logic and Data interpretation and Understanding EU.
-The breakups for each section are 40 objective type questions from English/Verbal Ability, 40 objective type questions from Quantitative Techniques, 40 objective type questions from Logic and Data interpretation and 30 objective type questions from Understanding EU.
-The test duration is 150 minutes.
