I am taking part in CBSE CCE exam but I at yet I have not idea what is the full form of it’s so can you provide me procedure how I can know about full form of CBSE CCE?

CCE was introduced in phases by CBSE in 2000 for classes IX-X, in 2004 for class I-V and 2007 for VI-VIII. It was revamped and strengthened further along with a grading system from the 2009-10 academic sessions.



Objectives of CCE, to determine the skills required by teachers for the use of CCE, to establish support structures like ICT needed for teachers and examine challenges in the implementation and continued use of CCE.

CCE Stands for Continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE). It is an education system which is newly introduced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India for students of sixth to tenth grades.

In CCE, the marks obtained in an exam are usually not revealed, and its equivalent grades, are deduced using a special method

Grading system is as follows

8.1-9.0 A2
7.1-8.0 B1
6.1-7.0 B2
5.1-6.0 C1
4.1-5.0 C2

CCE helps in reducing stress of students by :-
-Identifying learning progress of students at regular time intervals
-Encouraging learning through variety of teaching aids and techniques.
-Involving learners actively in the learning process.
-Recognizing and encouraging specific abilities of students
-Employing a variety of remedial measures
-Desisting from using negative comments on the learner’s performance.
