sir im having 50% marks in pcm in 12th and im having 90+ percent marks in english and my goal is to go in merchant navy what can i do for it sir

The Indian Maritime University conducts a Special Admission Test to provide admission in B.Tech program.

Eligibility:
For applying for the exam, candidate must have done 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized Board.

Last date for receiving of applications: 1st week of September 2013
Date of SAT exam: 1st week of September 2013

IMU SAT Exam Pattern 2012:
The exam paper will have questions based on following subjects:
Chemistry 20 Questions
Mathematics 40 Questions
Physics 40 Questions
General Knowledge 30 Questions
English 25 Questions
Reasoning Aptitude 25 Questions

The duration of the exam is 3 Hours. The exam paper will have 180 objective type multiple choice questions carrying one mark each.

- You must have 12th pass /equivalent.
- Must have secured 60% in PCM group and 50% in English.

IMU CET Reservation of Seats
-15% of the total seats available to Indian Nationals are reserved for Scheduled Castes,
-7.5% for Scheduled Tribe and 27% Seats are reserved for OBC candidates belonging to non – creamy layer ( NCL ).
-A total of 3% of the seats is reserved for DA candidates.
-For applicants belonging to SC / ST, a relaxation of 5% of the aggregate will be considered for all programs except core marine programs viz., DNS, B.Sc ( Nautical Science ) and B Tech Marine Engineering.
