IISER pune entrance exam

Is there any common entrance exam for IISER Kolkata, Pune, Bhopal and other centers? When the 2012 entrance exam for Indian Institute of Science Education and Research are going to start? What is the time table and how the successful candidates get the allotment of seats in various regions?

IISER 2014 Admission has announced in February, 2014.

The IISER Admissions 2014 will be through the KVPY 2013/JEE Advanced 2014 or IISER Aptitude Test.

This 5-year BS-MS Dual Degree Program is for science students those have cleared class XII.

Admissions to IISER will begin from August, 2014. Tentative dates for admissions and counselling are as follows:

Application dates:

KVPY Candidates: Mid April to first week of June, 2014

JEE Advanced Candidates: First week of June to last week of June, 2014

State & Central board Candidates: Second week of June, to second week of July, 2014

Counselling dates:


KVPY Candidates: held in First week of July, 2014

JEE Advanced Candidates: held in First week of July, 2014

State & Central board candidates: (ISAT Counselling) held in third week of July, 2014

Tentative dates for students applying through KVPY, JEE Advanced and IISER Aptitude Test will be published in February, 2014.

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) : Students qualified in SA / SX / SB/SP (passed 10+2) .

Central and State board (CSB) : With high aggregate scores in board exam (XII) and IISER science aptitude test
