Date of west Bengal lateral examination form for diploma holders?

JELET (Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry) is a state level examination conducted by WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board).

It will be conducted in July, 2020, for admission to 2nd year (3rd semester) in a four year degree course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy under lateral entry scheme.

Release of Application Form 26 Mar 2020
Last date to fill the application form 16 Apr 2020
Last date for downloading confirmation page 4th week of Apr 2020
Release of Admit Card/Hall Ticket 1st week of July 2020
Examination date 28 Jun 2020
Result declaration 3rd week of Aug 2020

Duration of the Exam – 2 hours
Mode of the Exam – Offline
Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions
Language Mode – English
Total Marks – 100
Marking Scheme is as follows

+1 mark for every correct response

No response shall yeild zero mark

-¼ (25% negative maring) for every incorrect response

Response with more than one option will yield negative marking of -¼ (25%)

The paper consists of various sections depending on the qualifying Diploma/B. Sc. examination the candidate has passed.
