I completed Diploma and want to apply for West Bengal Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry (JELET). Will you provide important dates to apply for JELET exam also tell exam pattern?

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct West Bengal Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2020 tentatively in the third week of July 2020.

JELET is a pen-paper based examination for admission to 2nd year Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses in participating universities, government colleges as well as self financing engineering and technological institutes in the state of West Bengal.

Important dates:

Start Date of Application Form 26 March 2020
Last Date for Submission of Application and Fee Submission 16 April 2020
Availability of Admit Card 02 July 2020
Entrance Examination 14 July 2020
Result Declaration 16 August 2020

Eligibility for Diploma holders:

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates need 40%) or equivalent CGPA.

All prescribed norms of D.G. Shipping will be applicable for admission into Marine Engineering
