Mumbai University Grace Marks Rules

I want to know about the Mumbai University Grace Marks Rules so please can you give me the Rules and provide me the page where I can download the information of the Mumbai University Grace Marks Rules?


Provided that benefits of above mentioned grace marks shall not be given, if the candidate fails to safe necessary passing marks in the aggregate course / head of passing also, if prescribed, in the examination concerned. Provided further that benefits of above mentioned grace marks shall be given to the candidate for such examination/s only for which provision of award of Class / Grade has been prescribed.

I Vinay Raval of BCOM 3rd year Hall Ticket No. 18976 would like to bring to your notice that I had flunked in 3 subjects and later after giving my Papers for Revaluation I cleared out in 2 but couldnt make it through my Economics paper.I Just need 4 Grace Marks to do so.

Mumbai University will give only 1% of your total mark which you got and also they will give you 3+3=2subject max if he clears all subjects...

My daughter has passed in all the subjects except one in TYBBI VI semester. She has failed in 1 exam and has got 19 marks out of 60. she is short by 5 marks. the total marks scored by her is 389 out of 600. if she passes in this paper she will get 65% marks.

The Mumbai University give grace marks on following bases:

The examinee give grace marks only for passing in each course / head of
passing (Theory / Practical / Oral / Sessional/ TW) in External / Semester End Examination or

Internal Examination Assessment is as follows:

Head of Passing Grace Marks Upto
Upto ‐ 50 2
051 ‐ 100 3
101 ‐ 150 4
151 ‐ 200 5
201 ‐ 250 6
251 ‐ 300 7
301 ‐ 350 8
351 ‐ 400 9
And 401 and above 10
