Rajasthan Public Service Commissions (RPSC) conducts Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) Combined Competitive Exam in Rajasthan. As per my knowledge, Ex Servicemen cannot apply for Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) Combined Competitive Exam. Ex Servicemen are not eligible to apply for the Posts. RAS & RTS Exam Eligibility: Educational Qualification: One must hold a Bachelors degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Age Limit One must have attained the age of 21 years but must have not crossed the age of 35 years for State Services & 25 years to 45 years for Subordinate Services. Age Relaxation Candidates Category Max Age Relaxation (in years) SC/ ST/ BC/ SBC Male candidates of Rajasthan 5 SC/ ST/ BC/ SBC Female candidates of Rajasthan 10 General Women candidates 5 Widow & Divorced Women candidates No maximum age limit Persons with Disabilities General 10 BC/ SBC 13 SC/ ST 1 5 RAS and RTS Exam Syllabus: The Exam consists of two exams: I. Preliminary Exam Syllabus: The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper on the subject specified below: Paper I: General Knowledge & General Science (200 Marks) i. History, Art, Culture, Literature, Tradition & Heritage of Rajasthan ii. Indian History iii. Geography of World and India iv. Geography of Rajasthan v. Indian Constitution, Political System & Governance vi. Political and Administrative System of Rajasthan vii. Economic Concepts and Indian Economy viii. Economy of Rajasthan ix. Science & Technology x. Reasoning & Mental Ability xi. Current Affairs II. Main Exam Syllabus: The Main Examination has four papers which will be descriptive/ analytical: a. Paper I: General Studies-I (200 Marks) b. Paper II: General Studies-II (200 Marks) c. Paper III: General Studies-III (200 Marks) d. Paper IV: General Hindi & General English (200 Marks)
