Hello, I am telling you the eligibility and the age limit for the whole India engineering exam i.e. the JEE-IIT exams. Age limit: A person need to be or below the age of 25, if applying for the JEE. The SC/ST is given the relaxation of 5 years, i.e. less than equals to 30 years. Eligibility: Pass Percentage in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects They must have studied any one of the subjects as optional subjects (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in total including all subjects No relaxation on caste based. Number of Allowed attempts: A maximum number of three attempts will be allowed per candidate provide the other eligibility criteria are fulfilled by the candidates. List of Qualifying Exams that are considered for JEE Main The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. [Only for Admission to IITs H.S.C. vocational examination. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. [Only for Admission to IITs] Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy. Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
