In 1891, American Express first introduced the checks. Traveler's checks offer a safe way to take currency overseas. The issuing party, usually a bank, provides security against lost or stolen checks.

As per me Bank Of America does not offer service of Travelers Checks, As a result of customer feedback regarding the many difficulties involved in cashing and using travelers cheques, they no longer offer this product.
