The ABA routing number is a 9-digit identification number assigned to financial institutions by The American Bankers Association (ABA).

The number identifies the financial institution upon which a payment is drawn. Routing numbers are sometimes referred to as "check routing numbers", "ABA numbers", or "routing transit numbers" (RTN).

Routing numbers may differ depending on where account was opened and the type of transaction made.

One can find the correct routing number for the type of transaction want to make by choosing the state in which account was opened by following the below given steps:

Visit the official website of Bank of America

Click to “Help” on the top of the home page

Click to “ABA routing numbers”

On the new page, fill in all the required details and submit
