Department of Science & Technology ( DST) has been constituted vide General Administration Department G.R. No. DST/2002/398/ITD dated 21st June, 2002 and it has been operational since 01.04.2003. This department mainly looks after the growth and development of new & emerging technology areas and is responsible for formulation and implementation of key policies in this sector in the State of Gujarat.
