After the University Grants Commission (UGC) drew out the rundown of phony colleges a week ago, in yet another significant declaration, the commission said that over the most recent three years, two colleges have been shut down.

CMJ University

EILM University in Meghalaya

Further, UGC information brings up that these varsities were shut and the understudies of the last were moved.

This news comes in after the Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) Mahendra Nath Pandey in a composed answer to an inquiry in the Lok Sabha stated, "The CMJ University was broken down by the state administration of Meghalaya after protests were gotten against the varsity."

Likewise, the Sikkim police had captured three higher positioning authorities of the Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) University on charges of issuing counterfeit degrees to understudies in lieu of cash, as announced by Meghalaya Times.

"The UGC has additionally educated that the EILM University was broken up by the state government and is not working since December, 2014," Pandey said
