Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) is a chief Regional Rural Bank set up as far as arrangements of Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 and is supported by United Bank of India. BGVB has been set up with the amalgamation of recent Mallabhum Gramin Bank, Gaur Gramin Bank, Murshidabad Gramin Bank, Nadia Gramin Bank and Sagar Gramin Bank. This bank is supported by United Bank of India and Owned by Govt. of India (half of Share Capital Deposit), Govt. of West Bengal (15% of Share Capital Deposit) and United Bank of India (35% of Share Capital Deposit).

Bank Structure

The Bank is working in 11 areas of West Bengal State with its Head Office at Baharampur, Murshidabad, West Bengal.

It has 587 Branches inside its directing range.
