Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha was built up in 1982, with agreement of Odisha Higher Secondary Act 1982, which was consented by the Governor of Odisha on 23 October 1982.

Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE) is a Board of Education conferring Senior Higher Secondary (Class 11 and Class 12 Courses) for open and tuition based schools, Colleges under the State Government of Odisha, India.

Examinations

The Council conducts last examinations each spring for Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), Council of Higher Secondary Education Examinations (C.H.S.E.) and examinations of different courses endorsed by the Board for Class 12.
