SSC CPO Exam 2012

Eligibility:
The candidate should be a citizen of India . The candidate should have done from recognized university . The age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years . The candidate should be physically and mentally fit .

How to Apply :
The candidate can apply through both offline and online mode. You can get the application from all Departmental Post Offices in India .


Notification will be available from: May last week , 2012

maine medical exam pass kar liya tha .low vioisn problem ki vajah se cmo se ankha ki janch karane ke liye bola gaya tha uar cmo se likhawa kar 15 dino ke andar ssc office bhejane ke liye bola gaya tha . cmo se janch karane par meri ankha sahi payi gayi .but abhi tak mera call latter nahi aaya hai.so please mera call latter bhejane ki mahan kripa kare.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) generally invites Applications for recruitment of Constables in Central police Organizations (CPOs) like Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Assam Rifles etc.

Age Limit –
Minimum 18 Years to Maximum 23 Years

Pay Scale –
PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade pay Rs. 2000/

Examination Test,
Medical Examination and
Interview Merit List

Educational Eligibility –
You should have 12th passed with good academic record from any recognized University or Board

SSC Constable (GD) Exam Syllabus

A. General Intelligence & Reasoning:
Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

B. General Knowledge and General Awareness:
Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

C. Elementary Mathematics:
This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

D. English/Hindi :
Candidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.
