Can you provide me Assam HS TET (Teacher’s Eligibility Test Higher Secondary) Syllabus as I need it for preparation of the Test?

One who apply for the higher secondary classes need to prepare the Assam HS TET (Teacher’s Eligibility Test Higher Secondary) Syllabus which includes the following sections-

It has 2 parts in which 1 is compulsory and other is optional (Commerce, Science or General Studies)

Part 1 (Compulsory) – Pedagogy, general English, Basic Numerical, Assam and its people (100 marks)

Assam TET HS Syllabus The pedagogy will be a 20 marks paper-

1. Learning process and pedagogy- principles of teaching, modern teaching learning process, Laws of learning, teaching methods, teaching devices, teaching skills, taxonomy, lesson plan, teaching aid

2. Educational Psychology- Meaning, nature, attention & interest, personality, children education, mental health, intelligence

3. Psychology of Adolescence- significance, dimensions of development, emotional problems, understanding the adolescent learner, juvenline delinquency, guidance and counselling, development hazards

Assam TET High School Syllabus

English will of 40 marks-
1. Remedial Grammar- Determinars, Tense Forms, Auxiliaries, Direct & indirect narration, active passive, appropriate prepositions, vocabulary, pair of words.
2. Composition- Letter Writing, Report writing, phrases & idioms, Punctuation, Sentence structure, paragraph writing, précis writing, miscellaneous corrections

Numerical will be a 20 marks paper which will have-
1. Algebra
2. Geometry
3. Commercial Arithmetic
4. Trigonometry
5. Statistics & probability
6. Mensuration

Assam and its People of 20 marks section-
1. History of Assam
2. Geography of Assam

Parts II, Part III, Part IV are the optional ones which will be chosen by the candidates. Part I is Commerce, Part II is Science and Part III is General Studies.
