BHU RET is a university level entrance exam organized by Banaras Hindu University for granting admission to eligible candidates in various disciplines such as Ph.D, M.Phil etc.

Availability of RET/M.Phil. -2017 ONLINE Form on the Entrance Test Portal : 10.09.2017

Last date for online submission of application forms of RET/M.Phil. -2017 : 01.10.2017

Downloading admit Card for RET/M.Phil.-2017 : 06.10.2017 to 08.10.2017

Entrance Test RET [FOR ADMISSION TO PH.D. PROGRAMMES]:
TEST A : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 09.00 hrs to 10.00 hrs
TEST B : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 10.15 hrs to 12.15 hrs
TEST C : Candidate(s) should visit the entrance test portal of the University regularly after 20th October 2017

Entrance Test RET [FOR ADMISSION TO INTEGRATED M.PHIL-PH.D. PROGRAMME]:
TEST A : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 02.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs
TEST B : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 03.15 hrs to 05.15 hrs
TEST C : Candidate(s) should visit the entrance test portal of the University regularly after 20th October 2017

Entrance Test M.PHIL ENTRANCE TEST [FOR ADMISSION TO M.PHIL PROGRAMMES]:
TEST A : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 02.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs
TEST B : Tuesday, 13 th October 2017 from 03.15 hrs to 05.15 hrs

Application fee:

All Disciplines/programmes (SC/ST): Rs. 250/-
All Disciplines/programmes (Others): Rs. 500/-

CRET will comprise three components:

Test A- Test to assess Logical and Analytical Capability
Test B- Test to assess Subject Knowledge
Test C – Research proposal and PI (Personal Interview)
