Hi buddy I want to take admission in BHU Varanasi Ph.d program through Common Research Entrance Test (CRET) and want to know for it I have to clear NET-Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)?

As you want I am telling for BHU Varanasi Ph.d program admission through Common Research Entrance Test (CRET ) and on NET-Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) score basis for admission in following subjects ,

Applied Chemistry,
Applied Mathematics,
Applied Physics,
Biochemical Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering,
Ceramic Engineering,
Chemical Engineering,
Civil Engineering,
Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering,
Electronics Engineering,
Industrial Management,
Materials Science & Technology,
Mechanical Engineering,
Metallurgical Engineering,
Mining Engineering,
Pharmaceutics,
Systems Engineering.

A candidate who fulfills one of the following requirements may be considered for direct admission to the Ph.D programme on supernumerary basis without appearing in the CRET:


Students who is qualified in a national level test such as UGC Junior Research Fellowship (UGC-JRF), GATE or its equivalent.

Students who is recipient of National Doctoral Fellowship or other fellowships from Government/Semi-Government organizations.

Students who is selected under Quality Improvement Program (QIP) of AICTE, Faculty Development Programme of a State Government or of UGC.
