The Centre for Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology is rechristened from the Centre for Plant Molecular Biology as per the Proc. No.R2/BM.158/VIII-2/2011/2011 dated 1.08.2011.

The Centre for Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology was established in 1987.

This earmarks the widening of research priorities in the field of plant molecular biology and plant biotechnology at TNAU.
