I want to know occupation required for Sailor Entry post announced India Navy, so that I can remember easily?

Eligibility
Educational Qualification - 10+2 (12th)/ equivalent examination pass with Maths, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Physical Standards
Height - Minimum 157 Cms
Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight - Proportionate to height and age

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - Physical Fitness Test will consist of 1.6 Km run in 07 minutes, 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.

Selection & Recruitment Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations. The recruitment test will be held during March/April 2017.

Results of the Written Test will be announced on the same day and those who qualify Written test will undergo PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination (Preliminary)

Sailors are recruited in the Indian Navy in various capacities:
Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR)

Matric Recruit (MR)

Non-Matric Recruit (NMR)

Musician (MUS)

Sports Entry

Artificer Apprentices (AA)

Training
9 weeks of basic training at INS Chilka, followed by 8 weeks sea training

Then 4 years of technical training at an Indian Navy establishment that leads to an educational qualification equivalent to diploma in electrical/ mechanical/ aeronautical engineering (recognised by Indian govt for employment purposes.)
