Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is a public institution established by the Government of India, located in Guwahati, in the state of Assam in India.

It is the sixth Indian Institute of Technology established in India.

Applications are invited for the post of Computer Trainee in the computer center of the institute.

These are temporary posts meant for imparting in the job training to the selected candidates. The training period will be of one year.

But at present there is no IIT Guwahati Computer Trainee post available.

No of post: Six nos. (Number may vary)

Minimum Qualification and experience:

• Three year diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics or
• Bachelor degree in Science and PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized university.
Selected candidates will be required to do shift duty and staggered duty.
